Super Bowl!
#1
So, kind of a bait and switch... sorry about that.

You might have heard a huge increase in a specific type of commercial as we get closer to the Super Bowl: sex trafficking.

It's not an easy topic to hear about, and you might want to ignore what's going to be happening in our city, but please don't. It's not "the biggest day of sex trafficking" of the year as you'll hear every year around this time (just like Black Friday isn't the biggest retail day of the year, nor the day that retailers "move from red into black"), but that doesn't mean it isn't important.

Because of the huge (massive) number of people coming into Minnesota, horrible people are bringing in kidnapped sex slaves to sell as prostitutes. It goes without saying that you should not participate. The problem is sensationalized, absolutely... but that doesn't mean it isn't a problem. If you think someone is in trouble, reach out to law enforcement and report it.

I can't even the imagine the noise level if the Vikings were in the Super Bowl at home.  The "SKOL" chant would be devastating to the other team.

The question is...will the Vikings even be allowed to do that? I kinda doubt it. And even if they are, we have to keep in mind that the amount of fans cheering for the Vikings will be significantly less than it would be for a traditional home game. And the ones that do get tickets likely won't be the loud, rabid kind we're used to.
