Was it a seizure?  Or like a pinched nerve?

The coach said he did not have a seizure. He was evaluated and cleared to return on the next possession. Then he was evaluated again and not cleared so they took him out. Huh?

No it wasn't a seizure. But he was coughing up blood. He briefly returned before he was taken out. The twitching was scary though.

Yeah, it isn't good to look at.  Coughing up blood?  NFL needs to review safety protocol on this one.

Probably just saw the start of C.T.E.

It seems crazy to me that he was allowed back in the game at all.

And he was cleared by a neutral medical professional?
That may not have been a seizure, but it was something, and it was not good. His arms are bent and rigid and his hands are shaking. Maybe the people on the sidelines did not see it, but surely the Texans have somebody upstairs watching the game and checking replays for important things like whether to throw the challenge flag. Maybe one of those guys can call down to the sidelines when they see Savage going back in the game and say WTF are we doing? Get him out!  Even the ref that was by his side when he went down should have taken it upon himself to stop the game and question the Texans about putting Savage back in after what he saw.  That was awful.
