Hey Viking faithful — big news. After months of work, we're moving VikeFans to a brand new platform this weekend, and I want to make sure everyone is ready.
The good news: You don't need to do anything. Your account, your posts, your entire history — it all carries over automatically. Log in with the same password you use today. That's it.
What's new:
Rich text editor — bold, italics, images, videos, embeds, tables — full formatting when you post
Live chat rooms — real-time chat alongside the forums
Reactions — react to posts beyond just quoting them
Direct messages — private conversations between members
Notifications — get notified when someone replies to your threads or mentions you
Modern design — cleaner, faster, mobile-friendly
Want to check it out before the switch? Head over to dev.vikefans.com right now. You can create a test account and explore everything before it becomes the official home. Just know that when we do the real cutover, the site gets wiped and repopulated with all your existing data — so don't get too attached to anything you do over there.
