So lets address the elephant in the room....

He leads the league in turnovers. Seattle's D is either the best or 2nd best in the NFL however so they are doing well. I personally don't care what he does or doesn't do with Seattle. The Vikings had a plan to get a qb on a rookie scale and spent a lot trying to execute the plan. The fact it landed in the ditch this year doesn't really change the fact that after those shit-the-bed losses to the Lions and Rams last year, nobody was excited about running it back with Sam. Life moves on and hindsight is 20/20.

The bigger elephant in the room is JJM. He was erratic today and took a dumb penalty, his successes this year have been against really awful defenses and he ought to be in charge of a run-first offense featuring heavy/12 personnel, something Kevin O'Connell appears to hate with every fibre of his being. His ceiling looks like it might be NFL backup, or might take many years to get to if it's higher. And he can't stay healthy. So what do the Vikings do? Already there is a roster of potential retreads being talked about for qb. It's not a future that really excites me tbh.

I think JJM’s development should be modeled like Purdy’s. Lean on the run and solid defense while he gradually develop his passing. Oh wait! That was the recipe in Michigan.

So keep the QB and can the coach?
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Haha! Absolutely NOT!
We should review what our base offensive strategy is and help the QB. I hope we can course correct, evolve or adjust. I have been saying we really need to take a hard look at the offensive coordinator.
In case your forgot, I am an internet coach/GM and expert so I am right when I type. Big Grin

That's  the recipe that won him 2 high school championship in 2 states, then he goes to Michigan and does the exact same thing......

KOC showed me he has. The same weaknessas Zimmer did.
