Bright spot: Dallas Turner
#1
I thought Turner played a helluva game yesterday. Definitely played better than I envisioned he would.

Dallas Turner's true spot is where Greenard plays in Flo's D, so he's playing out of position sometimes and other times just getting Greenard's rest reps...which aren't many when he's healthy. He definitely flashed yesterday. When Cashman and Van Ginkel are both playing and he can get the amount of reps in a game when Greenard is out, that's his optimal space. He needs to stack some good games and maybe he'll get that chance if Greeny misses a few more games.

I agree, he looks much more at home in Greenards spot...

That said, he still hasn't dominated like I would have liked given his draft position.

Maybe more still to come? I hope so.

I think he needs to get bigger/stronger, which seems to be true of young NFL linemen on both sides of the ball.
We need JJM to season, ASAFP....

I saw some encouraging things, but there were many times Kmet was blocking him one on one and Kmet held his own. I know they grow those TE's up right in South Bend, but no TE should be able to block Turner one on one. You have to make them pay for that decision
