I'm a huge Kevin O'Connell fan. However, he better be careful with this JJ McCarthy injury. It's starting to border on ridiculous with how cautious he's being and the reasons he's providing to the media.

I get it, you want your player to be healthy enough to protect himself out there... but you have a team full of guys who are fighting through injuries and playing on Sunday.

You want your QB to be a leader and show his toughness by playing through stuff. He's letting Wentz do it, but not JJ. Hopefully it doesn't affect how the team views JJ because I'm sure he'd love to be out there with his guys.

Same here. I'm sure the Chargers have enough film on Wentz to go off on, plus some healing up may do him some good. Right now there is little film on Brosmer, so for one week, this might be a good way to pull off a sneaky win. If Brosmer struggles bad, bring in Wentz.

one has to wonder if they are more concerned about the what if Brosmer doesnt struggle?   I am sure he would have some issues,  but one thing he has shown is he doesnt fuck around,  he finds his target and gets the ball out pretty quickly.  what if he comes in and does well,  then what does KOC do in terms of getting JJM the needed reps?  hard to park one kid that is doing well in the interest of developing another kid,  simply out of pedigree.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
