Red Zone ineptitude
#1
That was brutal. Will the Thrill kept Minnesota in punching distance but you need some TDs in the red zone. Would have been a completely different game. Penalties and turnovers AGAIN just killing the team. The refs and New York messed the Vikings up: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/4665...overturned

Not sure what Wentz was thinking a few times, made a few truly boneheaded plays. So many squandered scoring opportunities. Carson couldn't hit Jefferson with the side of a barn. And Hurts had so much time....brutal.

I mean....like I said yesterday before the game....anyone excited about continuing to watch Wentz? For the last place Vikings in the NFCN? And additionaly: if you get to play the Saints, Jets, Raiders, Dolphins or Titans, kiss the schedule maker because those teams SUCK out loud.

With middling QB'ing and this schedule?

This is a 7-9 win team

SO much under-performing to-date across so many including Wentz.

Don’t know if JJ hits this, but I am pretty certain Darnold does.

When Carson signs next year to be on his 7th team in 7 years, who will it be?

There are a lot of things that went wrong in this game. Pass rush, turnovers, red zone, penalties, idiotic ref calls. But to me the obvious difference in this game was Carson Wentz's horrible, HORRIBLE accuracy and decision making, and the inside protection. The good news I guess is that both the QB and the Center are backups and the starters will soon return. Hopefully.

Still in disbelief that this was a 28-22 game. Sure didn't seem that close. I don't know how a team can play THAT poorly and still only lose by 6. An average day by Wentz and we win that game. Garrett freaking Bradbury at center and we win that game.

yeah lets not get carried away there... those DT for the iggles were exactly the type of guys that GB sorely and routinely struggled against.  only thing is he likely didnt fire a snap over wentzs head,  but since they still got 3 there... thats likely all they would have gotten out of that drive anyway with the way Carson was playing.

I do wonder if Wentz was playing hurt,  as in more than just his non passing shoulder,  he has made some head scratchers in the past, but yesterday was a career day for inept QB play for him.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
