OT: Ryder Cup
#1
What a ridiculous and disgusting display by U.S. golf fans at the Ryder Cup. Going way overboard heckling Rory McIlroy, so much they had to have a police presence on the golf course surrounding the holes he and his partner were playing on. When is shit behavior going to be disciplined? This is life now with social media pushing everyone to be their absolute worst selves. These assholes are beyond nuts and they think they're so funny and clever....and its just moronic. People think they can do whatever they want in public now.

Europe is waxing the U.S. team and honestly, good for them. These classless douchebags of fans don't deserve to cheer on a winning team.

Yep,  alcohol sales should be suspended and security presence doubled for todays final rounds.  A general warning issued and anybody acting unruly should be removed.  Not sure its a legal matter unless they won't leave, but something needs to be done.  It's really to bad the rest of the US fans didnt just wild west that shit and shut it down themselves.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

In an earlier press conference during the Ryder, Rory said he moved to the US because he believed it was the greatest country in the world. You can come to the US, and if you work hard, you can be and do anything you want. Then for the US fans to treat him the way they did. It was an all day thing too, not just one person.

By being anything you want in the US, I guess that includes being an asshole too. It was hard and embarrassing to watch.

Herd and mob mentality is a fascinating subject. I'm not saying heckling is Woodstock 99 but I agree with Sticky, it was pretty low-brow. Especially amidst a walloping.
