Ahmad Gardner signed a 4 year, $120,400,000 contract with the New York Jets, including $85,453,473 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $30,100,000. In 2025, Gardner will earn a base salary of $1,100,000 and a roster bonus of $4,166,473, while carrying a cap hit of $10,643,437.

If any player is really "worth" the money they make, Sauce is worth every penny. But there goes my (hashpipe) dream of trading for him at the trade deadline.

As several have said on the board, the NFL cap is somewhat of an illusion. Not completely of course, but it can be massaged.
