And 85% of stuff posted online about stuff like this is complete crap, its rare that it comes to fruition. Like I said, I totally think its nonsense RIGHT NOW. But why would Ramsey take any less than $20 mill this year?

I think at this point, with him not at OTAs, and seemingly counting down the days to June 1st on social media, and Adam Schefter saying he's drawing "more interest than people realize," I think it's more likely he's traded than not. These things have a tendency to work themselves out too, so he could also stay put. We'll see.

I think the teams who are interested are likely limited to playoff contenders with both a need at CB and a good amount of cap space. So the Cowboys, Rams, Commies and Vikings. Still, the Dolphins would likely have to eat some money to make the trade work.

I'd be hesitant to add another 30+ veteran with a big salary. We're already going to be over the cap next year and will need to cut or restructure some guys.

It will be interesting. His next team will be his 4th. But to my point and the point you made here first and foremost, the Dolphins would have to eat some big money. I'm not sure if that will happen. Ramsey is a hot head and doesnt fit into the Viking's culture IMO.

In my old age Im easily confused. I've read this 3 times and do not understanding point. I never referred to local journalists. My point was broader to human behavior we listen or read things that validate what we already think. Or there is people who generate complete bs out of thin air so we click on it.

Yes to both. The rub is the made up content only needs the clicks/views, it matters not whether you agree or disagree with it. Its the engagement that counts and monetizes the content. Some seem to think if you respond negatively to something posted online that you 'win'....you've already lost as you engaged and did exactly what the desired outcome was. Easily manipulated.

If he's a post-June 1st casualty cut, then by all means bring him in if he's interested. Won't be like we're giving away a draft pick or picking up a huge chunk of his paycheck.

I think it's pretty clear our CB room isn't in it's final form. Not sure how that shakes out and how much we'd be planning on spending this spot though.
