So I'll say today its hard to know what exactly is the full truth out there, but this kid is either a real egocentric jerk or he's gotten some HORRIBLE advice which he put into action. The Giants were a team he WANTED to go to and he blew it up? Its so stupid. And why is a decent part of the media trying to make excuses for this guy? It appears to be mostly true, multiple reports have come out and he's even admitted he 'could have handled things differently' during the interviews. Hell, Stefanski had to defend to reporters giving Gabriel more rookie reps than Sanders at Browns rookie camp, its like WTF?

He's never going to be a starter in the NFL. And he might be a POS.

The kid still has a chance to make something out of all this....Fame, $ and more

Does he got it in himself to do it? I dont know and I doubt it. But I wont root for him to fail either.

Not sure what grounds they'd have for a lawsuit. Unless the footage was manipulated or strategically edited in a way that misrepresents reality, it would be tough to show defamation. Still, the Giants releasing poor pre-draft film of a player they did not draft would be highly unethical. Imagine the Vikings releasing bad pre-draft interviews with someone like Walter Nolen or Derrick Harmon. Just wouldn't happen.

Defamation would be almost impossible to prove. They don't have to show footage anyway. Some one already talked to the press about it. The draft is over and the NFL would levy a hefty fine on the Giants if they release the footage. It would be detrimental to Giants future drafts so it won't happen unless pirated out of there.
As far as not rooting for failure, I could give a rats ass.
This kid didn't lead an impoverished life and has already made more money than many daily workers make in a good portion of their career!
He needs to get out from under his dad's wing, grow up, face the real world and stand on his own two feet.
If he becomes a man I will respect that. Right now he is still a boy!

maybe he torpedoed his meeting so he didn't have to go to the Giants... he goes overboard and the whole thing snowballs...

AS MB points out - What sense would it make for a franchise to release anything of this sort? If there's any type of integrity in the organization, then the tape would be kept "in-house" as well as any discussion thereof. I don't think anyone intends to hamstring the kid, or validate why you didn't select him. If you think he's a bust, then let some other team roll the dice.

I understand "Dad"eon wanting to give his kids any competitive advantage, but when this level of entitlement is the by-product, should anyone REALLY be surprised by the result? At some point the umbilical needs to get cut, and it's time to do for yourself.
