Cowpies to trade for WR George Pickens

Diva attitude without Diva production. Plus you HAVE to pay him or risk flushing two picks. On the plus side, you have a decent weapon across from CD.

Wow.

Cowboys gave up a 3rd Round this year & a 5th Round pick next year for George Pickens.

You still have to pay him next year or tag him….seems too rich for me.

but since this is after the draft,  we are really talking about a 3rd in 26 and a 5th in 27?  not peanuts, and not a move I would have done,  but it works out to basically a 4th and 7th if you reduce the pick 1 round per year out.  and this assumes there are no other factors in the actual compensation.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

If they allow him to walk after this season they'll receive a 2027 comp pick that could very well be higher than a 5th.

Interesting. That's not terrible if that's how it plays out. Certainly lowers the risk level on the move. Seems surprisingly savvy by of all teams, Dallas.

I loved Pickens out of the draft. He is a player. Hands are something else. He really does have hella talent.
