"According to Cleveland’s Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan, he says Nick Chubb is nearing a deal with an NFC North team in free agency. Who could it be??"

We are getting close to 3 pm central, maybe we'll find out whom the Vikings have been secretly after without comp picks to give up.

He's been rumored to the Bears for a few weeks.

Rumor is to the Bears, but he does have the connection to Kwesi while with the Browns ... so maybe.

Lot of mileage on a soon to be 30 year old back with major history of lower body injuries.

2015: tore the PCL, MCL and LCL in his left knee. He also dislocated the knee and suffered cartilage damage. Missed 7 games

2020: MCL sprain left knee. Missed 4 games

2021: calf strain. Missed 2 games

2023: torn MCL/ACL of left knee, required surgery on two occasions. Missed 15 games

2024: missed 6 games while still recovering from the knee injuries. Week 15 broke his leg and misses another 3 games.

I would hate to have his body in his late 40s early 50s,  my broken bones and torn ligs are enough,  I cant imagine all the stuff that got fucked up that didnt make the injury report.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Oh boy....Helluva back and locker room presence, but when he finally got healthy, he wasn't the same. Can he get back to where he was given another year removed from the injury? Maybe, but man, I wouldn't want to count on it. Doesn't seem like a fit with the Vikings, considering he's roughly the same age with the same concerns as Aaron Jones. I rookie back was the way to go.

I think it's probably the Bears. I'm sure they're still stunned they weren't able to land Jeanty. But I think he's a better fit there.

Different type backs and not similar to Jones.  Jones has had no injuries approaching the significance of the injuries Chubb has had.  Any older back is a question mark.  Chubb is three question marks with his injury history.

I just mean in terms of roster construction
