Look like we can still get a couple of really decent prospects in the 5th. I wouldn't mind getting one of the RB's and DT's.

The IDLs look strong, as do the backs. But personally I like the backs in the next tier (Brashard, JCM) almost as much as I do these backs. Have to think LB or Safety is next. I'd say TE too, but BFlo might be wondering when he gets a little sumpin sumpin.

The real question is do we sit back and pick 1 player or trade back for more picks. How many developmental players do we want.

CB/safety, DT, RB, TE

That's a good question. At this point, we're not really looking for starters anymore. Yes, I'm aware we got Diggs in the 5th and Bynum in the 4th, I'm just talking about odds. They're really really low. So if there's a guy the Vikings really like on the board right now, I'm hoping they wouldn't hesitate to give up a future pick to go get him. And at this point, those moves are pretty cheap.

If we don't trade up, I think we'll trade down one of those early 5ths. All the players after the 4th are pretty much the same. As one personnel guy put it a few years ago, "after the 4th round, you're just guessing."

Spreadsheet of the best available players. I think this is Arif's. Players who stick out to me: Sampson, Tuten, Skattebo (not a big fan, but at this point, might be worth a shot), CJ West, Ty Robinson, Giddens, Bassa...

So yeah, it makes total sense to give up a future 3 to get a long shot 4th rounder on avg?
You’re arguing your own logic.  lol.
