Truth from Jaylon Johnson of the Bears
#1
Quote from #Bears star cornerback Jaylon Johnson on any “hype” surrounding the Bears:

“I’ve been here a minute. I’ve been through the hype… and we don’t win no games. So, for me, if it’s not about winning, quite honestly, I don’t really care about it. I’ve been through it too many times, man. I’m going to get excited when we win in November and December and when we change some things and get into the playoffs. That’s when I’m going to get excited.”

2 years in a row the Bears are 'Offseason Champs'. More of a media crowned thing than anything else, of course. However I do think the Bears are getting incrementally better. Its all going to depend on Caleb Williams.....just like in Minnesota with McCarthy.

Poles has had top tier draft capital and cap space his entire tenure in Chicago. He hasn't done dick with it. Now he added THE HC candidate.

Probably outcome?

Another 4th place finish.

More than likely. But they won 5 games last year and I could definitely see them winning 7-8 this year. Like I said, incremental improvement. The interesting part is it looks like, as of right now, Jayden Daniels is the better selection. Not ready to put dirt on Caleb's grave, but this is a big year for him. They improved their O-line. Big expectations with Ben Johnson's signing.

Bears will battle it out with Green Bay for the basement of the NFCN. Love and Williams both have a lot to prove.

They were very close to sweeping the Packers IIRC.

They split.  Bears missed a FG or maybe it was blocked in the first game.

Yeah. It was blocked. If I were a Packers fan, perish the thought, I would be more concerned about finishing last than finishing first. If Jordan Love can't play better than he did last year, and I don't believe he can, they are going nowhere. Nothing better to break the balloon of Packers fans arrogance than five or ten more years of mediocracy.
