Love the first two picks...and the Monheim Steamroller. Does Jackson project to guard? I know a lot of us mock IOL in the mid to late rounds. I do too, but now I kinda wonder if that's realistic, considering we drafted Jurgens and Rouse last year. I think we'll try to solve IOL mostly in free agency, so these IOL draft picks would be depth competing with our current depth. Competition is always good, but it could result in cutting players before we know if they have a future.
I'm starting to think we could use those rounds for our 3rd ILB and more bodies in the secondary. Just some things I think I think.

Jackson had two full years at LG before filling in when Simmons got hurt. Could also fill in if Darrisaw is delayed in returning.
My FA assumptions as of now is Milton Willams and a CB. Trey Smith is going to get OT money. Don’t believe me? Look at Thueny’s contract when he left the Pats. I guarantee he’s getting stupid money. $23 AAV. It’s a fuck you, pay me situation.
Blackmon, Nudie, and maybe Murphy as CB. Again, history shows we added late FA CBs and maybe this year we add a near premium guy. I think we’d be set. Especially if Milton and ONL provide an interior pass rush. Both guys have insane win rate percentage.
LB depth is another year of BA. Heck, we typically only play 1.

Unless a light goes on, I don't think Asamoah makes the team. He's been relegated to special teams, where he wasn't bad actually. But when Cashman and Pace went down it was Grugier Hill who came in, and he really hurt us. Like RBs, LBs get hurt a lot. I think we need an upgrade at LB3.
I really like Blackmon, but I want him to be our 3rd CB...and Nudie 4th. Now, if they surprise us, great, but I don't think we should count on a a guy returning from an ACL and a UDFA to start for us. Sign Murphy and draft Revel, I'll sleep better.
I agree with you on Milton Williams. Trey Smith? I think I look elsewhere. $23M for a guard is nuts when you can get two IOLs, or even three, for that price...that would be considerable upgrades to what we have now.

I guess I viewed S as a more pressing need than iLB. Swap out my S for the LB from Georgia. Smael Mondon.
CB isn’t going to be perfect, but get me a near premium FA and another late in FA find, maybe Griffin, and we’re pretty set. Not an issue if KJ hadn’t been tragically lost.
