So stupid, when the plan all along was to let JJM ruminate on the bench for most if not all of his first season, but then gets hurt in the preseason...the narrative suddenly became he was going to be the starter and it was a huge blow to the season and the reason that SD got the starter role. Now 6 months later they are trying to tack every starting potential or even moderate journeyman to Minnesota because there is a perceived opening for a starting qb?
The plan for 25 is and has been JJM as QB1 since he was drafted, i dont know where the hell stafford or some of these others moving to Minny makes any sense whatsoever.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

You obviously aren't very dialed in, jimmy. JJ blew out his 'ACL' and he's emaciated and weak, almost near death. No way can he put any muscle back on and might possibly retire from that 'ACL' injury. I also read he's 'on the spectrum' and is having a hard time diagnosing the playbook because of it. Factor in the team keeping his recent 'Crohn's disease' diagnose secret and the Viking's QB plans are in turmoil. Turmoil, goddammit! It's why Zygi sent the team plane to pick up Aaron Rodgers last night....c'mon jimmy. Where there's smoke there's fire.

When it comes to homeless QBs, it doesn't matter much what the question is these days, the answer always seems to be the Vikings.

Thats a two side coin; lazy journalism/we earned it If I was to list all the QB's that have come through Winter Park/Eagan? I would be here lunch-time typing em all.

This is what happens when you run a podcast that has to come up with Vikings-related "content" every day. You have to discuss ridiculous nonsense like it's real. Sorta like American politics these days. When the does the invasion of Canada start?

The offseason makes embarrassing, desperate folks out of otherwise functional sports journalists. It's pretty ugly to watch, even worse to read.
Stafford's not ever going to be willing to be a mentor, or a bench warmer. He was a very high pick, has a ring, and wants to go out on top, not as a journeyman backup. He's got endorsement money along with his career funds, and he's good enough in front of cameras that he'll likely have a suit and a lapel mic after he's done under center. It's kind of a fun idea, but I think it's time to spend less time thinking about QBs around JJM, and being the focus to the kid, himself.
Wait, we failed to protect our QB in big games, again?
MAYBE THERE'S A LESSON HERE. |
