how do you outlaw it?  its a QB sneak,  its just part of the game,  you dont want a team to shove the ball down your throat on the goal line... dont let them get the ball to the goal line.

I hate the play, but it is just part of the game.

ITs a qb sneak, but you could outlaw certain formations?

I dont think they will do anything about it, it may just be the evolution of the game

For decades, NFL rules prohibited offensive players from directly aiding a runner in any way, whether it was pushing or pulling him. But in 2005 the league clarified its stance. There would be no pulling of ball carriers by teammates, but pushing was too difficult to legislate.

“What the league found was so difficult was you never were sure who was pushing who,” said Mike Pereira, the former NFL director of officials who became the rules analyst for Fox. “So you’re not necessarily pushing the runner. You could be pushing someone else that’s in contact with the runner. So it became really too difficult to officiate. Therefore, we just said, ‘OK, it’s legal to push.’ ”

When you have a lower body like Jalen Hurts, its unstoppable. No other QB in the league has a dump truck and thighs like Hurts. He's built like a fullback. That's what gets lost in the Tush Push argument. Washington stopped it....but you aren't going to stop it a 2nd or 3rd time. If its 1st and goal from the 2 or 3-yard line, its over. Its inevitable.

Leave it.
It's just a modification of the time-honored QB sneak (with a push from behind).
And it doesn't always work.
Just ask the Bills.

Unless, by 1/2 the distance to the goal penalty you never cross the plane, Zeno's dichotomy paradox.  After watching the four Washington penalties the thought came to me, that and a few Neon Hazy brews

Not usually a Goose Island fan, but my wife was in Publix and these were on sale so she grabbed them for me (12 oz kind) to see if I liked them. Not bad.

Agree,  they do however need to keep a closer eye on the alignment by the OL,  when the Center is lined up over the ball ( helmet passed the ball) then the OG, and OTs are pushed ahead as well,  that is certainly something they need to be calling as that does create to much of an advantage to the O,  if the D cant enter or line up over the ball, the O shouldnt ( center included) get that advantage either.

The other overlooked thing is the formation.  Philly knows how to setup their lineman with the overlapped stances.  This is the old wedge play in the triple wing offense.  Hard to stop for a few yards.
