I'm guessing this is very one-sided interest and its one of those 24/7 sports news cycle stories, but why on both sides? Go find the next McVay, KOC, Shanahan, Harbaugh, LaFleur, etc. don't go this route. Hell, Andy Reid, who rocks, is 66 years old.....that's still 7 years younger than Carroll.

Wont happen at 73...I wouldn't hire him if I were an owner, not for HC anyway.

I think it would be a great hire. One team off the Flo train.

I have seen Carroll around LA often, he is a physical freak, not your average 73 year old, in much better shape than most guys half his age. I would not want to see him go to Bears. They want Lincoln Riley out of USC if they can find a way to buy him out and Pete is at USC teaching and could see him taking over that program again.

Did Caleb play for Riley? The hire would make sense in that regard.

Sorry, my post wasn't written clearly, I meant USC would like to get rid of Riley, he has done a terrible job with the team and they have lost of lot of top recruits, he has a huge buyout otherwise I think they would have moved on already.

Bears are not a stable organization They replace GM's, HC's and QB's every 3 years....

Flores, Ben Johnson and other top candidates all know it.

Bears are realizing no one is gonna want to interview for them.

Carroll gives them an out.
