On one hand...well, he isn't exactly a terrifying QB. He can be very good, but never for more than 1-2 games at a time.

On the other...we SHOULD be able to dominate them with a backup, but we have this troubling history...!
LET'S WREAK SOME FUGGIN' HAVOK, VIKINGS!!! SKOL!!!

Would love to watch another great defensive performance. Wins against backup QBs count just as much, so hopefully we don't come out flat. It's still a road game in Florida.

Forecast is 80 degrees, high humidity, chance of rain.

86% of public money is on the Vikings.

If Lawrence isn't playing, this game in a way becomes Pedersen's Super Bowl.

There's a lot about this game that screams, "weird one". Hopefully the Jaguars are just too banged up and demoralized without Lawrence at QB to be fully invested on Sunday, and Sam dices them up.

As Jared Allen famously said in his first year in purple after being upset by a then-lowly Kansas City team: "hey, it's the NFL. Everyone is good" This could be a trap game. Or it could be one to rebuild some confidence.

Mommas do let your babies grow-up to be qb's...

Jaguars signed Lawrence to a five-year, $275 million contract extension in June that made him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in NFL history. Now, Lawrence has lost 12 of his past 14 starts.

Yes we do, but they're usually the crusty veteran types. The Jags will be starting Mac Jones. He diced us up pretty good in '22 but that was when Donatell was here. I'm sure Flores will have his head swimming.

That said, the Jags have played most teams tight. Took the Packers to within a FG, within 5 of the Eagles, within 4 of the Texans, and they beat the Colts and Patriots, so the Vikings can't look past this one.

If Football Barbie is out and we face Mac Jones, I like our chances.
