I said this before we let him go and I will continue to repeat: He many never fully recover from the Achilles tear and at age 36 none-the-less. It was the main the reason I did not want to pay him and was thrilled when the Falcons did. It was time to move on and invest in the future.

Kirk was inconsistent with the Vikings. He had some great games and some bad games.
He’s on a new team, and they are playing some good teams to start. He will probably get back on track, let hope he stays healthy for the season. Good thing is he’s not our problem no more.
