The year we went 13-4 under KOC

Just sayin' we were 0-3? (or was it 0-4) in preseason.
Being 2-0 in exhibition games does NOT matter.

What matters is how the guys trying to make the bottom end of what we hope is a deep roster perform.
Gotta say, however, that quite a few of them stepped up today.

what say you?

Teams are never hurt by winning!  But, you're right, record during the preseason means nothing and predicts nothing...  Heck, we've had a lot players perform well during the preseason but ended up being cut.  Doesn't count for much relative to players either.

Today's win was awesome though!  Loved the picks and TD passes.  Always fun to see the men in purple make plays!

The team last year went 0-3 and and during the regular season went 7-10. This year is the first season KO has any preseason victories.

This year there has been a shift in philosophy in training camp. Last year was protect everybody from injury and take it easy in practice. This year is much more physical in practice and protect the starters in preseason games.
They know they have a tough start to their schedule and don't want to come out flat and sloppy like last year.
Depth is getting good experience and an opportunity to compete. So far, depth appears better this year.
