This made me laugh. But you are right. Not sure what colors Minnesota and Baltimore are, but true purple they are not. Some kind of variant of purple? Sure. It wasn't that long ago the helmet color didn't match the jersey color in Vikingland. I do like their color scheme now.

Well I guess they are closer to purple than I wanted. 
If we roll back the clocks exactly 47 years from today to the year 1977 and find me at the age of 16 and come up to me and say; "Not only will your team not go back to the Superbowl before 14 other teams in your conference get there, but there will be at least two teams that get there that are not even in the NFL right now and one of the them will be purple."
I would have bet anything that wouldn't be true.
