It doesnt surprise me that McCarthy would give Zimsu an interview.
But I'd be surprised if McCarthy went this route vs a young, upcoming savant type thats all the rage these days. I dont think "the optics" of hiring Zimm would be positive.
Zim has the talent to be a special DC. He was innovative and always at the front of the pack with defenses. As long as he isn't expected to meet with the QB, he will be fine.
