Hope Jefferson is OK and we dont loose him again.  i want to see him and Addison working the field.  It sure didnt happen yesterday.

Addison was MIA yesterday as well.
Concerned about Addison, he has not been the same player lately, he is not playing physical and just does not look into it.  I saw all his games last year at USC and he also faded at the end of the season, although he was battling injuries then.  I wonder if at his size he is wearing down.  He just does not look into it, if you didn't see him earlier in the year, you would think he looks like a guy that doesn't care to be out there.
I suspect that a lot of Addison fading is Dobbs. He does not make WRs look good. His passes tend to be high, behind, and late. JJ can adjust and make the catch (and get killed in the process) but normal receivers cannot. Dobbs likes big TEs, and even there, he has gotten TJ crushed a few times also. This is an under-appreciated quality of good QBs - they don't get their WRs killed. Dobbs does not possess that ability. I expect Mullins to be better at it than Dobbs but not quite in the Cousins world.
Yeah, no doubt.

Addison with Cousins: 36 catches, 482 yards, 7 TDs
Addison without Cousins: 20 catches, 231 yards, 0 TDs

Probably should do this on a per game basis since Cousins played 8 games and "without Cousins" played 5 games

With Cousins:
4.5 catches per game, 60.25 yards per game

Without Cousins:
4 catches per game, 46.2 yards per game

The big difference being the TDs.

Our hc and his moronic Dobbs experiment in mid-season is looking like a bigger idiot than Man Campbell.  My guess is the Packers overtake both of us
Okay, what would you do?
Your starting QB goes down for the season.
Your two-year backup is recuperating from a lower back injury.
You put your rookie 5th round QB in to start the game and he gets his brains scrambled due to a bounce off the hard turf.
I don't think the Dobbs "experiment" was avoidable.  We were just lucky for those first two games.  He may simply be better at Improv than having a script.  We may never know.

I've said what I would do. Pull Dobbs at halftime of the Broncos game and put Mullens in. And go back to Hall as soon as he was cleared.

I'm not interested in being "in the hunt" for another road playoff embarrassment featuring Dobbs, Mullens or even Kirk, I'm interested in getting a better draft pick and a qbotf, whether that's Hall or someone else.

Also I said after the Atlanta game and continued to say that Dobbs would crash hard sooner rather than later. Said it while the fans and apparently KOC were having fantasies about the Disastronaut that could never come true.

If he'd gone to Mullens at the half in Denver we might be 9-4 right now with the way the defense is playing, so if being "in the hunt" is some sort of pelt on the wall versus actually building a long term legit contender, then at least make smart coaching moves to maximize that effort instead of lighting games on fire to get Dobbs a participation trophy.
