Happy: No Kirk, JJ, or Darrisaw, and we win on the road.
Depressed: Hall concussed on his 2nd drive then Akers blows HIS Achilles... WTF.
Embarrassed: Our D came in 11th in scoring and gave up 28 to Heinicke without his best WR.
Happy: Falcons D came in #6 scoring D and gave up 30+ to basically our JV offense.

Summary: I'm so confused  :p
Embarrassed?  The two turnovers and safety produced 8 points immediately.

The defense until they were gassed on that last drive held their own today and had a great goal line stand.  I think Flores did the drop 8 into zones knowing that Heinecke has a tendency to let balls sail which is ideal for picks (Murphy dropped one, caught one, Bynum almost nabbed one as well)
I agree, and think we have some dogs on this defense that aren't the guys you'd expect. Bynum, Metellus, Wonnum, Hicks, and Harrison Phillips are all balling out and a huge reason this defense has surprised.

Was really excited to get the win, but afterwards it was just like what did I just see as that was one of the weirdest and ugliest games I have ever seen?  Did we win. cause we played really well or were they really bad, Hall looked pretty good so was an empty feeling we didn't get to see more of him and then Dobbs was a combination of bad and great so not sure exactly what to think there and now what do we do next week at QB, can we win like this again, yeah I am pretty confused too.

I remember a quote from Jared Allen years ago after we lost to a very marginal KC team (that he had come from).  Nobody expected us to lose, but we did.  He said "hey, it's the NFL.  Everyone is good"
Yep. Every team in the NFL has talent on its roster. Some more than others. Some superstars are better than other superstars. But after you skim off the top 20% of every roster, there's very little difference. And when you get down to the depth, they're nearly identical.

It was like watching The Replacements. All that was missing was John Madden diagraming it while talking about strike football.

Yesterday was the "B Side" to Vikings/Giants with Josh Freeman @ QB.

I’m getting numb to the chaos that is every game for the
Vikings.  I just expect every week to be some
sort of drama where the unexpected scenario is probably the most likely one.
