Dobbs - QB School

He was also just benched in Arizona for some guy named Clayton Tune. Dobbs is a backup, and let's just leave it at that. That's what he's been his whole career
AZ has a lot of time, money, and energy tied up in Murray, so having Dobbs around (especially if he was popular in the locker room) could be a distraction.

He was named the starter for this week, then they backtracked and said they had watched the game tape again and decided to go with the other guy.
Maybe that’s because they were working out a trade with Minnesota and didn’t want to give first team snaps in practice to someone who wasn’t going to be there.

Dobbs certainly has the physical tools.  He has the smarts, but I dunno...is he a rocket scientist or a baller?  Hall has the keys to the bus this entire weekend, but if he runs out of gas (or runs off the road), Dobbs is a more than serviceable backup.  He needs some time to learn the playbook and sync with the receivers, backs and OL.  No question he has a better supporting cast than he did in AZ.  But same with Hall...he has a better supporting cast than he did when he was playing in pre-season.  A lot of those guys aren't even in the NFL anymore.

Did he?  Or was he playing a tad to good for them and they need that first pick?

They were 1-7 with him, so he wasn't swaying anything one way or the other
