Good to see from Minnesota. San Fran was getting frustrated, getting chippy because they were getting handled. Just read Hicks called out the team and said, 'All we hear is that THEY are physical. We're the physical ones! Let's take it to them'. Stepped up. One guy I'll call out is Bradbury, as I've been critical in the past. He's a battler. He might get handled sometimes but he also will pop a guy big time. Risner just looks elated to be out there playing football, lol. And what's gotten into Bullard?
Not sure what happens moving forward, but at least its interesting again week to week. Nice win.
Defensive kudos: Cam Bynum, Danielle Hunter, Jordan Hicks, DJ Wonnum. Cam Bynum is a beast.
Offensive kudos: Kirko, JA, TJ, the O-line and Brandon Powell, who made some key grabs.

Good call out on Powell.
I think some fans want a unit, like the offensive line, to absolutely dominate each and every opponent or they aren't good. Rarely works like that for any unit consistently in the NFL....there are exceptions, but you get the idea. I don't think Minnesota is set up to 'dominate' any opponents, but they can play physical.
Its too bad Davenport is injured because I think he'd be a great compliment to Hunter this year.

I've said it before, but Cam Bynum is right up there with Hunter for being our best player on defense. He has played at a Pro Bowl level all season.
Another guy is Hicks, who I was completely wrong about. He has been outstanding this season and one of our real leaders on defense.

Yeah with all the focus on Pace and Asamoah, Hicks was overlooked by most. He has shown up in a big way.
Dean Lowery stuck out as well. He had pressure on the first Bynum INT, he blew up a couple other plays as well and got the fumble recovery.

and most importantly, early in the game he chased Purdy to the sideline, caught him as they were going out, but didnt take him to the ground late. I was fully expecting that to turn out differently, sometimes its not the hits you make, its the ones you dont that make the difference. All game long the Niners were just on the cusp of getting their momentum, any little thing along the way could have changed that. Way to play smart football Lowery.
