Seriously, I am the only one that remembers the Terminator movies?

at what point to those in charge put some common sense and restrictions on this shit?  I was a little spooked when an AI machine that was never programed with an asian language,  or the ability to learn,  was asked a question in an asian language and after a short time gave a response in that language,  but this shit right here is directly out of hollywood.

sounds like its pretty much there now,  it was programmed to do a job,  and when it identified what was preventing it from doing its job it eliminated it.   thats some scary shit right there.

Really enjoyed the first two. The concept of SkyNet and all that was a really cool concept and menacing at the same time. I think we are quite a ways from that, but it does seem like we're trending now toward something like it in some lesser form.
