Maye passed for 414 yards, including 287 with gains of 46, 55 and 39 yards in the first half as North Carolina built a 21-10 lead. 
Considered a top-five pick in the NFL draft next spring, Maye finished 29-for-40 as the Tar Heels gained 517 total yards.

Gopher defense decide to not get off the bus?  I remember those kind of defensive efforts when I attended the U back in the 70's...

I actually thought the opposite, didn't think Maye looked as good as the hype. He makes some off balance throws that his arm isn't capable of strength-wise delivering on....its helps that his WRers are WIDE open. Kind of a string bean as well.

JJ McCarthy had his worst game. Yuck. When the warts come out, they are ugly.
