Enjoyed him a bunch as a Viking! He fit the brand personna so well. 

Best of luck to him and his family...

What do these guys do staring down 40-50 years of retirement lol!

Very classy guy, very good player, and was a professional through and through. I wish him all the best in his next chapter  <3

Does anyone know if he just didn’t get a team to sign him?   Seems odd to go through a trading camp and then just before the season starts, retire.  I am sure it’s been done many times as a player finally realizes how tough it’s getting on their body.

I don't think he was ever signed.  Tampa only had him on a 1 year deal in 2022.  I think he waited to see if someone wanted a veteran presence in their locker room before they locked in their roster.  No takers...  No a big surprise...he had 3 total catches in 2022
