First 2 regular season games meaningless?

So if the Vikings were to start off 2 and 0 and the packers start of 0 and 2 you do not think they would be concerned about that.  No team wants to start out that way because that could be what costs them homefield advantage, playing on the road in the playoffs or not making the playoffs altogether.   Sorry I have to call BS on this one.

I was going to say something along those lines. The Bengals have been a pretty good team here of late with making the playoffs and all. But now after going 0-2 the entire team from coaching to players is going to be under the microscope.

I think maybe they meant that teams are still trying to figure things out in the first few games. And that you can't really get an idea of who's going to be good or bad in those weeks. Not that they don't want to win. But who knows? If that is what they meant, they didn't say it very well.
