I want to know what the word before "Ass" is. Has to be dumb doesn't it? I wonder if Adrian didn't think he knew something that Payton didn't and was calling him a dumbass for not listening to him.
AP throwing shadows at Payton last night?

Quote: @Mike Olson said:I think they shot themselves in the foot in a way (not to take anything away from the Vikes, we kicked the shit outta them). Teams have gone on to these 2 headed RB offenses over the years, but they usually have complimentary skill-sets that work within the offense being run. The Saints almost looked like they didn't know which of 3 offenses they wanted to roll with. The Peterson running base offense, the Ingram "off balance" offense, or the Kamara passing base offense. They eventually needed to throw the ball around, and Kamara got the majority of touches. I think the mindset was: Peterson is a better runner than Ingram, Kamara is quick and a better receiver than Ingram, but Ingram is on another level than both in regards to the playbook, schemes and system. They tried to run the ball with Peterson, they tried to keep us "honest" with Ingram, and then they heavily relied on Kamara when they needed to throw the ball the most. That's a team with an identity issue (before they were a team with a 'getting their ass kicked' issue towards the end of the 2nd half), they don't know what and the hell they want to do or how to get it done. When a player has the ability to run like Peterson, and an ability to (not) pass block like Peterson, you know why he's coming out of the game. They spent their whole off-season kinda getting away from the Ingram based offense. They've tried to create something new, and they showed last night that they might have become just a mess of ideas that sounded great on paper. Sean Payton gets lauded around the NFL as being a great coach; we'll see how he responds with his play-calling and the rotation at RB. Do they try and run a more classic Saints passing attack with Kamara killing it underneath (building off of the offensive "success"), or do they try and force the rotation into a winning formula?
