Does anybody listen to this guy? I'm shocked that he's made an everyday show discussing the same handful of individuals and verbally swinging from their nuts.

- Aaron Rodgers
- Lebron James
- Tom Brady
- Bill Belichick
- Russ Westbrook

I mean does he really even talk about anybody else? It's really incredible

Ratings, it's all about ratings. He had a personal vendetta with Baker Mayfield which was rather entertaining since Baker isn't afraid of going back at guys like him. I don't listen to him though...I try to stay away from sports talk shows and stick to reading actual reporters on Twitter. The content there is so much better

Have you seen Get Up?  It's Rodgers and Brady every. single. day.  For 2 hours.

Thats ESPN for ya. Its no coincidence so many people leave that place to go elsewhere. Granted ESPN is almost a monopoly, but their content sucks and I feel bad for their personalities. Outside of Booger and Stephen A, they really do have a lot of people that I find insightful and enjoy listening to. Just sucks they are sexist and care more about ratings than they do content.

He's a very nice guy. Approachable.

In Portland OR. in the mid 90's. I talked with him often,he'd come and eat at the place I worked while in college.

Dude  will talk your ear off.

Why do they only show Knicks and Lakers games on TV? New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys for the NFL? Its about ratings. Certain names elicit responses. Certain market demographics are more desirable. Its not about interesting topics, its about pandering to larger demographics. That's it.

There is 100% no bigger load of absolute f#cking garbage than these ESPN/Fox Sports daily TV programs like Get Up, Colin Cowherd, etc. Stephen A. Smith is a bit.....Skip Bayless is an actor. Its all contrived.

This was said by Newton N. Minow in 1961....and is still true today

"When television is good, nothing—not the theater, not the magazines or newspapers—nothing is better. But when television is bad, nothing is worse. I invite each of you to sit down in front of your own television set when your station goes on the air and stay there, for a day, without a book, without a magazine, without a newspaper, without a profit and loss sheet or a rating book to distract you. Keep your eyes glued to that set until the station signs off. I can assure you that what you will observe is a vast wasteland.
You will see a procession of game shows, formula comedies about totally unbelievable families, blood and thunder, mayhem, violence, sadism, murder, western bad men, western good men, private eyes, gangsters, more violence, and cartoons. And endlessly, commercials—many screaming, cajoling, and offending. And most of all, boredom. True, you'll see a few things you will enjoy. But they will be very, very few. And if you think I exaggerate, I only ask you to try it."
