I don't follow twitter enough to know why being "verified" is important, but Page apparently isn't and Matt Waldman finds that ridiculous.

Yes, I assumed that was the reason for the surge in hysteria by the hangeroners.  It is rather stupid, but then that is twitter.  I do like his reply.  If any former football player is notable, he certainly is.  The man has accomplished so much more than being a great football player.
