Unless you don't think that either of those QBs will be better than an elite CB.  We have seen what happens when you take the 4th or 5th QB off the board to early because of need,  hard to fault him IMO.   I still think rogers ends up in Denver after this season. 
Yes, I'm sure this was the rationale. But keep in mind these 'elite' corners don't always pan out either. The bottom line is the Draft is risky no matter what, may as well make your decisions and see how it falls.

I honestly dont think he will get burned with his decision.  maybe a little short term heat,  but it takes more than 1 season to make a career and I dont thing either Fields or Mac will be impressing anybody by year 3.
