it is a little dis-heartening to see the team treat CF like his contributions weren't worthy of the HOF,  great for Marshall if he gets in, but its a hall of fame,  a place for people of great achievement,  Marshalls greatest achievement was that he didnt get injured.  Chuck changed the way the position was played.

Tom would have to chime in with the details,  but its my understanding that CF has basically been a pariah in terms of getting open team support.  I think the organization has made some resources available for Toms efforts, but as far as Bud or others making a pitch for Chuck,  I dont think they have been willing as they know they really can only back one horse at a time and they have been pushing for others from the 70s squads.
