True, but there is a positive side to the unknown, too. Because he didn't play we don't know that he couldn't have repeated what he did the year before. And if he did, he'd be a top five pick.
No doubt he comes with risk, but is it any more risk than Jaelen Phillips, whose doctors advised him to retire from football due to concussions? I mean, think about that. Phillips is the best pass rusher in this class based on what I've seen, but what happens if he goes down with another concussion? Did we just waste a pick?
