A closer look at some of the missed opportunities from the Colt's game.

Now, I'm gonna start this by telling you something you already know.  The o-line aint great.  You wouldn't be out of line to even say the o-line aint good. With that being said, we left some plays out on the field Sunday.  What is really frustrating here, is Kirk forced some balls to Adam he shouldn't have and then 2 of the 3 below are shots he should have took, but didn't.

Jefferson lined up at the top of your screen here.  To Kirk's credit, the pocket is dying fast..  He should know though this play is designed to make that corner pick which receiver he is going to cover.  You can see him look back at the Safety, which hasn't dropped back.

This one sucks. Adam at the top of your screen. Pocket is breaking down, but Kirk steps up.  Here is the kicker with this one, this is late in the game, and Adam is the go route.  Adam would have been Kirk's 4 progression here...

Early in the game here.  This is where Irv got called for the O-PI.  Pocket isn't terrible, Kirk buys time, and watch Adam on the bottom of your screen.

If we are going to lose, I want to go down swinging.  I'm not gonna fault Kirk if one of these would have got picked off.  Forcing it to Adam in double coverage is a totally different story though.

He is not good, he is fixed on one player and disregards the rest. Adam in single coverage is a lock. Kramer used to pump fake and then go to the other side. Look at the bottom video, this play will work: drop back pump left and then let it fly down the right sideline and you got a TD to Adam. A good QB can sometimes dictate what the defense does. Cousins is lost.
