In his first interview with the Western New York media as a Buffalo Bill, nearly five months after the team acquired him in a trade with Minnesota, Stefon Diggs used the phrase 'super excited' when describing his new situation in Buffalo more than once.
The dynamic receiver clearly recognizes the situation he's been dropped into in Buffalo as a very promising one. As excited as he is to assume the top receiver role in an offense that has to take a sizable step forward, Stefon Diggs also knows that time is short in an offseason and preseason that's been compromise by a pandemic.
What Diggs knows he can rely on is his unrelenting work ethic, which seems to perfectly match those of his new teammates on the Bills roster.
"We're not working with a lot of time. Who's to say how this season goes if we have to take a break or however this season goes," said Diggs. "What I can control is my effort, my consistency in how much time I try to put into getting better each and every day. And as far as the quarterback we've got like six seven other guys who have been around him so I'm just coming in trying to really just do it all over again. So I feel like a rookie all over again and enjoying the process and just buy in."

Me too.
I'm hoping Jefferson quickly makes me forget about Stefon, but that's asking a lot of a rook WR, especially going into this year...
But I was at the Mpls Miracle game, so Diggs is seared into a sweet memory.

Same. He's a dynamic and exciting player to watch. And that Thielen/Diggs duo was potent. I wish him the best, sort of.
Last week, as a part of the pre-season 'replacement' series, they aired the Philly game from last year when he had 3 TD's. Today it's the Minny Miracle game. That's the best in-stadium memory I have of an NFL game. Okay... yep, I'll miss him.

I was there as well. It was one of the greatest moments in franchise history. It is a learning curve for a receiver but I wish Justin good luck. Have to be patient with a young rook.
That Minny Miracle game was incredible...Top 3 for me for sure and I've been a season tix holder back to the Moon days.
I'd have to put 09 Vikes vs Cowboys @ Metrodome right up there too.

Nice. I had season tickets the two years before that. I was a new ticket holder and had nose bleed seats. So, I dropped them and missed all of the excitement. Bad move  I picked them back up in 2010 in time for the Metrodome roof collapse.

Oh, I remember that game. I remember that play. I remember all of it like it was yesterday. I was sitting in a friend's basement watching that game, hearing Paul Allen scream "Welcome to Minnesota!". All I could do was sit there in disbelief while my friend excitedly said "This team is legit! This could be the year!" and then laughed about me dropping my seats. I wanted to choke him :#
He survived that day and we're still friends... lol
I want to see how 'super excited' Stefon will be when Allen is skying passes over his head and behind him when he's open.
