Cardinals Announce That They Have No Clue As To What They Are Doing
#1

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury reiterated No. 8 overall pick Isaiah Simmons will primarily play linebacker."Our thought process, is if he is really able to focus on one position, having the flexibility to still move around, but really focus on one, what does that look like?" Kingsbury said. "And the sky can really be the limit." Simmons, the 2019 ACC Defensive Player of the Year and Butkus Award winner, logged 303 snaps at cornerback, 218 at safety, 160 at outside linebacker, and 121 at inside linebacker just last year with the Tigers. Cardinals GM Steve Keim referred to the 21-year-old as a 'Swiss Army knife' on draft night, but it's hard to imagine the rookie developing as such with his hands tied. His first year under DC Vance Joseph will be an intriguing one, for better or worse.

Im sure that will end well......until a 300 lb. mouth breathing, knuckle dragging guard pulls, and tees off on this 21 year old kid.

hope the kid has life insurance

This was what scouts were saying on this guy: what position in the NFL? I think its going to turn out that he's ok at some but good at nothing.

6'4 around 240lbs - Simmons

6'5 around 250lbs - Anthony Barr

I think Simmons will have better coverage skills with backs, TE's coming out of backfield and maybe even better sideline to sideline then Barr.

I think his potential in the Barr - OLB - coverage role is very high and at worst a big Safety.

Once again Barrnone wins best thread title of the day! ...or yesterday actually.  Hard to keep track of these days.
