Vikes switching to 3-4?

Maybe not on all downs but looking at some of these defensive picks plus Dom Capers, I wouldn’t be surprised if we were going to run some 3-4 looks this year.

This is my take too.  I think if we were staying in a pure 4-3 we would have hit a 3T a lot earlier.

4-3 over front w/ cover 3 plus some wide 9

I think we'll see some hybrid looks.

Yah, the Dom will bring some Fire Blitz looks - but I dont see them walking from the 4/3 base. That would be a shocker.

I expect our defense to be DOMinating this year.

I think we ask this question every year.

Yeah, I don't see it happening.

Zim ran a 3-4 in Dallas, didn't he?  I don't see a wholesale change, but Zim loves to innovate.  I see that as the case again.

Last year, if you asked me if we would have switched from a man defense to a zone defense, I would have said, "No Way!", but here we are.
I think our defensive personnel looks like it's heading towards a 3-4 cover 3, with a lot of our players being able to do both, but our rookies look like classic tweeners that end up in a 3-4.  Our crappy DTs can switch to 5T, where their lack of penetration isn't as big a deal.  Barr moves to the edge position opposite Hunter.

I don't know shit, but that's just what it looks like to me.
