This year’s draft is different
#1
Due to COVID-19.  Was talking to Mattyman last night about the type of players Zimmer and Spielman are going to target.  I think there’s more emphasis on production and experience than on unpolished raw talent with upside, as there’s going to be far less opportunities to coach up rookies.

Jefferson - Top 3 in nearly every WR category.  Gladney is a 4 yr starter.

I expect Vikes to focus more on plug and play types with higher floors but lower ceilings until Day 3.

I think in this first round, they got 2 plug n play guys. And I get what you are saying. But they are both very talented also, Jefferson had a 90+ draft rating on him which put him in the 'rare skills' range. Gladney is long limbed, fast and Zimmer's hardcore teaching won't bother him a bit because Patterson and his staff at TCU are ball busters. Z will be a walk in the park.

I expect the opposite today and tomorrow: high ceiling riskier players. Nows the time to swing.

Weird times for sure.

You follow the draft and college closer than I do, but it was impressive that ya called the Jefferson pick. 1/1

I thought the Eagles were gonna pimp the Vikes, glad they took Reagor
