A few players I've heard media is higher on than the NFL (pre-Combine):

EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos (Rd 2-3)

WR Tee Higgins (Rd 2)

OT Andrew Thomas (Late Rd 1)

S Ashtyn Davis (Rd 2-3)

If we walked out of the first two rounds with Thomas and Gross-Matos, Id he a damn happy man.

Why Gross-Matos? Ogdenigbo and Weatherly can replace Griff's production and probably better it. Get me a 3T please. Hell, I'd even plug my nose and get on board with a CB before I would DE.

Rick and Mike have spent years mining the bottom of the Draft for Lottery Tickets at DE and have found not 1 but 2. Time to cash that in or what's the point?

If you can get first round talent, at a premium position, in the second round, you do it...

Overrated by the media.

I always pay attention when a media scout talks about differences between media scout opinion and NFL scout opinion. He's not Bob McGinn, but Matt Miller is a pretty connected dude.

Media opinion and NFL opinion always tend to merge as we get closer to the draft, but it's not the NFL opinion changing, it's the media opinion changing as they hear more and more from NFL personnel.
