The playcalling was the most questionable in the 1st half. We funneled ourselves into letting them really tee off. Perhaps the playcalling early was the way it was because we knew we couldn't block them... but, we made ourselves pretty predictable as the game wound down. It was even crazier that there was no extra protection when the playcalling asked Kirk to hold it and read, even down to the very last play.

The lack of Cook threatening the D was also huge...we were defeated prepping to play...O conceded defeat before the first snap...

KFAN is reflecting like it was "run run run punt" "run run run punt" in the first half...
It really wasn't boring ass runs that killed us. Our Time of Possession would have been better if we went run run run punt. We forced so many design plays that were hopeless as soon as the ball was snapped. Booger had a moment at the end where he was like "call a screen," we actually did, but they identified and covered it. Green Bay did that all game! Stefanski just kept hammering it in the 1st half. Shit passing plays mixed in stopped the clock, killed our drives and kept us out of rhythm. Way too many passing plays mixed in (and relied on) where Kirk's only option is to kill it if it's not there...

Too many 3rd and 4 to 6 and not relying on high percentage, short yardage passes to keep the chains moving.
Like after the failed trick play that Diggs should have run....we just needed 4 yards but went for the bomb on 4th down. Unbelievable.

Just terrible throughout. I figured we'd miss Dalvin dearly, despite what many here were hoping for, but holy cow.
Super athlete Boone had nowhere to go. Cousins found almost nothing downfield. We abandoned the outside run game. TEs were mostly invisible. Thielen a couple drops on like 3 targets. Just really, really bad. Wow. Incredibly frustrating. The small silver lining-- and I'm serious-- is that my expectations have now come crashing back down to Earth. I'll still get my hopes up in the playoffs because that's what being a fan is, but with this game being so near to the playoffs, it will be in firmly stuck in the back of my mind. The Green Bay Packers are better than the Minnesota Vikings this year. I didn't want to believe it and it makes me sick typing it, but it's true. Damn.

It's kinda hard for a QB to put the game on his back, when he himself spent so much time on said back.
The line was horrid, GB's defense had our scheme completely covered, and too many drops/mistakes killed most of our (rare) good moments. It was like we'd regressed to early season stupidity and forgotten everything we learned about how this bunch wins.

It looked just like Vikings vs bears earlier this season. A shit job from the top down.
