Like, coaching.” What did that — coaching — mean? “How do I bring together all of these players?” McCoy said. “How do I get these 25-year-olds and veteran players with families to believe in each other? A lot of very good coaches might excel in one or two areas but it's rare to have a guy who's good at all of them. Xs and Os, teaching, culture, media facing...he does all of this so well. We're lucky to have him. I read this morning that it was finalized over the weekend, but they waited for the sports news cycle to pass a bit to not take away from the playoffs. Both sides obviously wanted it so it came together very quickly after the season ended. |
