I shouldn't be surprised, but it's also so true that it's not who you play, but when you play em. For example, I think we're playing the Eagles right when you wouldn't want to play them...And KC? Lions played KC at home at a time where the Chiefs pretty much HAD TO WIN.
Curious why you'd say that about the Eagles. They're playing like shit right now. Is it the ol' "because they're playing like shit, they'll be pissed off" thing? Man, I don't know. Just don't think it works like that.

I tend to agree that this is kind of an old school fan way of thinking, but I fall into that trap as well sometimes. Its going to be a long week!

I dont see them losing 3 in a row.
Plus I dont think this is a very good Viking team yet.

No, we're not. Not saying the Vikings are going to have an easy go of it. I would just prefer to play a team who's lost two straight and the second guessing that comes with that, than a team who's won two straight and the confidence that comes with that.

Hopefully it's a thing of the past, but the Vikings have a history of losing to teams they should beat and don't often beat the Eagles. I also would much rather play them now when they are struggling. But I understand the guarded skepticism.

To me its the odds of losing 3 in a row...Its just bad timing imo.
My hope would be to be competitive for this game if JJM was starting.
Its more important for me as a fan to see hope at QB then a win right now tbh.

Their offense has serious issues. They can't seem to settle on an identity and end up ignoring their run game.
