I assumed that he was out there more on the practice field while over in Dublin/Ireland.
This is a tell that the high ankle sprain was worse than they let on.
I for one do not believe that he is 100%, and a smart QB whisperer is not going to throw him out there not 100% healthy and unprepared ("core principals"?) when he has a suitable QB 2 that has already won games for us.

The healed or not takes precedence week to week. But schedule wise, if JJM doesn't play this week, then maybe the week after vs Chargers?
Thats a TNF game and he'd have a mini-by after that to play 11/2 at Lions.

Eagles
at Chargers
at Lions

This was during the bye week. He is saying it was good to have some time to work on the foundation, the footwork and such. They don't have much time to do that during a normal week with game prep.
