The past two years haven’t been up to snuff according to PFF. If you get the guy prior to 2023 you’re golden.

If you get the player prior to '23 I like him more than Milton Williams. It's hard to know how much his injury affected his performance last year, BUT 77 pass rushing grade in '23, 81 in '22, 91 in '21, 83 in '20. Don't ask him to stop the running back on the way to the QB and you'll be fine.

Allen is a 3rd down rotational guy who could collapse pockets. That’s the value I see for him and he could thrive at that with this scheme and the edges.
