Bradford out for longer than we have been led to believe?
Posted by: TBro - 10-05-2017, 11:48 AM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (8)

This is from Sid's column so who knows if there is anything more here than just speculation but he doesn't think
Bradford will be back anytime soon. Unless we start seeing him as a full participant in practice for 2-3 consecutive
days leading up to a game, I tend to agree with Sid that he is going to be out for a long time. Listing him as "day
to day" seems more like a smokescreen than a true measure of where he is at with his ability to play. I will be really
curious to see what Shurmur comes up with for a gameplan vs the Bears. With better protection this year, I think we
will need to air it out a lot more. Murray is not Dalvin Cook. He looks a lot more like Asiata and we all know how that
turned out for us last year.

The Vikings remain hopeful Bradford can get back on the field soon, but I think it’s doubtful because of his two past ACL surgeries and now additional problems with that same bad left knee. So for now, the Vikings’ playoff hopes are in Keenum’s hands.

Vikings working out RB Troymaine Pope

Troymaine Pope could potentially be joining the Minnesota Vikings backfield.
According to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle, the second-year running back will be working out for the Vikings as they look to add another body to the rotation after losing Dalvin Cook for the year.
Pope entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2016 and has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts in his short career. He played his college football at Jacksonville State.

Chargers & Vikings Working Out RB Troymaine Pope

Aaron Wilson reports that the Chargers and Vikings are set to host free agent RB Troymaine Pope separate workouts for at some point this week.

In 2016, Pope appeared in four games for the Seahawks and rushed for 44 yards on 12 carries (3.7 YPC) to go along with one reception for five yards receiving and no touchdowns.

The most ridiculous thing I have read
Posted by: Vikergirl - 10-04-2017, 05:59 PM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (11)

So I know there is a lot of speculation and bs about Sam right now. I have to admit the most ridiculous thing I have read online is that supposedly Sam is holding himself out for contract purposes. How in the hell would that work? That makes absolutely no sense. He isn't going to get a big payday by not playing. Anyway, that's the biggest load of stupid I have read in a while. I really hope the best for Sam.
